Former UFC champion Demetrious Johnson has voiced his strong opposition to the upcoming fight between Mike Tyson and Jake Paul. The bout scheduled for November 15 will stream live on Netflix. Johnson expressed concerns about the well-being of the boxing legend, citing reservations about the highly-anticipated match.

Paul faced off against Mike Perry on July 20 instead of Tyson because the legend experienced an ulcer flare-up and needed medical care. Therefore, all indications indicate that this fight might end poorly for ‘Iron’ Mike. Demetrious Johnson discussed the challenges posed by this particular matchup. He even offered his opinion on the outcome of the rescheduled match.

The former UFC champion highlighted his belief that as the fight goes on, Tyson will begin to fatigue. As such, he believes this will eventually create an opportunity for ‘The Problem Child’ to seize the moment. This would lead to the 27-year-old emerging victorious over another legendary figure. It is a scenario that Johnson is not interested in seeing unfold.

Moreover, he specifically mentioned fighters like Jorge Masvidal as a better test than Mike Tyson in his fifties. ‘Mighty Mouse’ has discussed this idea before and expressed his disapproval of the potential matchup.

Jake Paul does have that uppercut... He can probably hit Mike Tyson with as well because Mike Tyson does duck his head to get into the void and get across it.
