While Sean ‘P Diddy’ Combs is being detained at Brooklyn’s Metropolitan Detention Center, his private jet was seen at Auckland Airport.

The 54-year-old rapper is currently awaiting federal trial after he was indicted on charges of racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking by force, fraud, or coercion, and transportation to engage in prostitution. He has denied the charges against him and pled not guilty in court.

On Thursday, a private jet believed to be the all-black Gulfstream G550 owned by Diddy was spotted at Auckland Airport’s C1 parking stand. This parking stand is usually reserved for private aircraft.

After the jet was spotted in Auckland, the Instagram account @celebrityjets shared a screenshot from theairtraffic.com which showed the jet traveling from Honolulu, Hawaii, to New Zealand. Sightings of the plane were also reported in the Auckland Airport Spotting Facebook group.

The private jet is legally owned by US company LoveAir LLC. Diddy has previously been seen using the private jet and was spotted disembarking the plane in a 2022 video.

While the private jet traveled to New Zealand, Diddy remains in prison. The disgraced music mogul has been denied bail twice but is appealing the court’s ruling which states he is to remain in prison while awaiting trial.

His legal team filed a notice on Monday which appealed a federal court’s decision to deny Diddy bail twice. A source close to Diddy revealed to The Mirror US details of the latest court filing.”A notice of appeal was filed in the second circuit regarding Mr. Combs’ detention. This is a standard notice to the court and the actual appeal brief will be filed soon,” they said.

The source also said Diddy is putting together a “dream team” of attorneys for his criminal trial. The source continued: “Sean Combs is building his dream legal defense team, adding Anthony Ricco and Alexandra Shapiro to the trial team. Tony is one of the finest trial lawyers in the country. Alexandra is hands-down the best appellate lawyer practicing today.”

As Diddy awaits trial, he also faces the prospect of more lawsuits. Attorney Tony Buzbee said 120 people are planning to sue Diddy, alleging the rapper exploited and sexually abused them.

Combs’ attorney Erica Wolff denied the new allegations in a statement. She said: “As Mr Combs’ legal team has emphasized, he cannot address every meritless allegation in what has become a reckless media circus. That said, Mr Combs emphatically and categorically denies as false and defamatory any claim that he sexually abused anyone, including minors.”

She continued: “He looks forward to proving his innocence and vindicating himself in court, where the truth will be established based on evidence, not speculation.”
