However, Caitlin Clark’s teammate, Kate Martin, has emerged as a closer second than many anticipated before Saturday. Martin, beloved by Hawkeye fans, impressed during her WNBA debut for the Las Vegas Aces against the Los Angeles Sparks, further solidifying her status.

Yet, she made the most out of her opportunity by playing over 26 minutes against the Sparks on Saturday and leaving a significant mark on the game.
