Dame Dash Defends JAY-Z Against Diddy Scrutiny Despite Ongoing Feud

Dame Dash has expressed support for JAY-Z amid the scrutiny of his relationship with Diddy, despite their ongoing issues.

Dash, who himself attended Puffy’s parties in the past, spoke about the Bad Boy boss’ sex trafficking and racketeering charges on his America Nu Network and said he hopes Hov doesn’t get implicated in the case.

“To be honest, I really hope — like, the things that they’re saying are terrible. It’s hard for me to even think that any of those things could be true,” he said. “I don’t want them to be true. You know, they’re saying they’re going to pick him up next. I don’t wanna see that man going to jail.”

“As much as he’s been fucking with my money, I wanna hope that that’s the worst that he’s been doing. I would never want to hear that Jay was in a freak off party,” he added, referencing the alleged sex parties that are at heart of Diddy’s case.

Dash also said that “it would be such another big blow for Hip Hop” if it were to come to light that the Roc Nation mogul was involved with Puffy’s alleged sex crimes.

Watch his comments at around the 31-minute mark.

Dame Dash previously addressed a picture of him in bed with Diddy, JAY-Z, Jennifer Lopez and Aaliyah at one of the embattled mogul’s famous parties in 2000.

He said on Instagram Live: “Nah, I didn’t go to those parties…I went to one about 20 years ago in the Hamptons with Aaliyah but that’s about it. A lot of people were at those, you know what I mean?”

Dash added: “Ain’t shit happen in the Hamptons. That’s the day I met…that me and Aaliyah…we hung out there and then we left and that’s what happened. That was 20 years ago, that was not in L.A. or Miami. I know they gonna play games with those pictures. It’s all good, I don’t really care.”

Dash and JAY-Z’s long-running feud continues to rage on in 2024, with the Roc-A-Fella co-founders currently involved in a legal dispute over the former’s shares in the iconic record label.

To settle Dash’s extensive debts which total around $10 million, his one-third ownership stake of Roc-A-Fella Inc. is being forcibly put up for sale at a public auction.

Hov has been accused of trying to sabotage the sale by claiming that the copyright to his seminal debut album Reasonable Doubtreverts back to him in 2031.

In a recent Instagram post, Dame accused the rap legend of “poison[ing] the environment for the auction” and making false claims about the copyright, which he says is actually owned by Roc-A-Fella until the year 2098.
