At a Paramore concert this week, NBA player Steph Curry made an unexpected appearance as a special guest. The Golden State Warriors were bouncing around on stage in front of ecstatic fans.
Curry, the point guard, is enjoying a break during the off-season after recently celebrating their 12-year wedding anniversary with a vacation to Greece with his wife Ayesha.
NBA star Steph Curry was the surprise name at a Paramore concert this week
And since he continues to take a break from basketball, after his trip, he chose to spend an evening at a Paramore performance.
Lead singer Hayley Williams even extended an invitation for him to join the band on stage.
Declaring that Curry was a close buddy, Williams informed the audience that fans were now watching “The Steph Curry Show” instead of Paramore.
“So you see, you and Steph have a few years of history together,” she remarked. And our reunion is tonight. We’re going to sing a song together tonight. And hear me out: as soon as Steph gets the stage, this is a Steph Curry show, not a Paramore one.
Wearing all black, a backwards cap, and glasses, the 35-year-old stood at the back of the stage behind Williams while she sang her hit song Misery Business.
After the song, she moved aside, allowing Williams to go to the front and sing the chorus.
The four-time NBA champion appeared to be relishing the occasion as he waved to the audience and then bounced about the platform while the music dropped and confetti was thrown at him and the band.
Curry has had an exciting summer. Last month, he participated in the American Century Championship golf tournament in Lake Tahoe, which he won and received a $125,000 award.
He started the event with an amazing hole-in-one, but his closing eagle on the par-5 18th hole topped it.
He threw his hat in the air after the putt fell and rushed into Ayesha’s arms.

“This is something you dream about, because I don’t do it for a living,” Curry remarked.
I’ve been participating in this competition for nearly ten years, and I can now display some gear as a result. It’s unique.
Curry, 35, won the American Century Championship golf tournament last month, donating his £125,000 prize money to charity
Curry finished with 75 points, two ahead of the runner-up, Mardy Fish, a former professional tennis player who won this tournament in 2020.
Curry promised to donate his prize money to charity. Fish started the 18th hole three points ahead of Curry but finished on par.
