Britney Spears was seen dancing around with a bandage on her finger almost two weeks on from her knife wielding controversy.

The chart-topping star wore a thick white bandage wrapped around the index finger of her right hand as she performed in a since deleted video clip on Sunday. Britney, 41, wore a long sleeved black top with cut-outs to the front to display her cleavage, teamed with leopard print panties and a pair of black knee-high boots for the clip as she danced to Daddy Lessons by Beyoncé.

Britney appeared to be simply taunting her fans with the bandage as she later posted a second set of videos wearing the same boots but with a sexy purple satin and mesh lingerie bodysuit adorning her toned physique. In the clip, she provocatively weaved and gyrated also to the sound of Daddy Lessons.

The move comes after she recently received a wellness check from local cops after her knife brandishing video caused concern among her fans. TMZ reported that "out of an abundance of caution," deputies from the Ventura County Sheriff's Department sent cops to check in on the Toxic singer after they received a call expressing concern for her. "Britney was home, and deputies were able to speak with her and determine she was OK ... so they left," the source revealed.

Meanwhile, she told her fans to 'lighten up' after she posted the video where she was dancing with two huge kitchen knives. The singer sparked concern as she spun and gyrated holding the dangerous-looking kitchen instruments. At the time she captioned the September 25 post: "I started playing in the kitchen with knives today!!! Don’t worry they are NOT real knives!!!"

She since claimed that she was simply copying fellow pop star Shakira and that nobody should be worried. Posting a further video to her Instagram account Britney stressed the good intentions behind the shocking clip. She wrote: "Lighten up about the knives I’m copying Shakira."

Shakira performed at the MTV VMAs using knives for a rendition of her song Hips Don't Lie earlier this month. When Britney posted her knife clip she wrote: “I started playing in the kitchen with knives today.” She added: "Don’t worry they are NOT real knives !!! Halloween is soon."

However eagle-eyed fans weren't convinced by her claim with one pointing out that the knives were “100 percent real” as an audible “clang” could be heard when she tapped them together. Several fans meanwhile jumped to Britney's defence pointing out the comparison with Shakira.

One wrote: “Shakira did this in front of millions yet not one person said s–t, this isn't a big deal, it’s literally fake knives.” Another agreed: “Look at her form in this video! She’s not going to hurt anyone.”

Over the years, the Friends actor was very open about his relationships with his co-stars, particularly as he battled addiction as they filmed the hit sitcom.

Perry's affection for one co-star in particular started very early on in the show's run.

He had long admitted to having a crush on Aniston -- who played the lovable Rachel Green.

Before the sitcom started filming, Perry said he was "immediately taken" by the actress, according to The Mirror.

However, Aniston reportedly had a "deafening lack of interest," in return.

Perry, who played Chandler Bing on the hit show, attempted to impress Aniston and later asked her on a date.

However, she declined his offer and suggested just being friends while they worked together.

Perry explained this moment in his memoir Friends, Lovers and the Big Terrible thing, saying, "It was clear that this made her think I liked her too much, or in the wrong kind of way."

He claimed that after she suggested being friends, Perry said they
couldn't be friends.

For a time, the actor said it was awkward working on the same set with Aniston as he started to overthink his interactions with his crush.

"Fairly early in the making of Friends I realized that I was still crushing badly on Jennifer Aniston," Perry wrote in the memoir, according to an excerpt from DigitalSpy.

"Our hellos and goodbyes became awkward. And then I'd ask myself, 'How long can I look at her? Is three seconds too long?'"

However, as the group of actors shot into stardom and Aniston began to date Hollywood's Brad Pitt, their friendship became stronger.

Years into filming, that friendship proved to be extremely important for the young actor.

In his memoir, Perry detailed his battle with painkillers and alcohol as he worked on the Friends set.

By early 2000, the actor said he was "taking so many pills that I couldn’t leave my bedroom."

However, Perry revealed he believed he could hide the bad habits, as he was still able to show up to work and remember his lines.

But that didn't stop his friend Aniston from calling him out.

Perry said she came to his Friends trailer and said one simple sentence, "I know you're drinking."

"I had long since gotten over her — ever since she started dating Brad Pitt, I was fine — and had worked out exactly how long to look at her without it being awkward, but still, to be confronted by Jennifer Aniston was devastating," Perry wrote.

"And I was confused."

He told his co-star that he had been trying to hide it, but she revealed those efforts were for not.

"'We can smell it,' she said, in a kind of weird but loving way, and the plural 'we' hit me like a sledgehammer," Perry said.

Perry later said he was extremely grateful for Aniston throughout that tumultuous period.

As he checked himself into rehab and continued on the long path to sobriety, Perry said Aniston would check on him.

"She was the one that reached out the most," he said to Diane Sawyer in an October 2022 interview.

"You know, I'm really grateful to her for that."

Aniston told Perry, "I know you're drinking."
