It’s been over two decades since Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s alleged affair shocked the world – and marked the end of his marriage to Jennifer Aniston.

Though all parties have been honest about how difficult navigating the intense press and public speculation was, no one has gone into great detail into exactly what happened.

Known for being private about her personal life, Aniston has made very few comments about her ex-husband, though they seem to now be on friendly terms, having been photographed together at red carpet events since his split from Angelina.

Jennifer Is Reportedly Inspired By Matthew Perry To Release A Memoir

However, Jen may be thinking of telling her side of the story, as a new report claims she’s considering a memoir about her divorce from Brad.

“Jen knows people want to hear all about her love affair with Brad and the truth about their divorce, especially since Brad and Angelina have now split and Jen and Brad have reconnected,” a source alleged to Life & Style.

The insider says Jennifer is inspired by her late friend and Friends co-star, Matthew Perry, who wrote his ground-breaking Friends, Lovers, and the Big Terrible Thing, a few years before his death.

Apparently, Jen now feels, “Life is short, so why not do it now?” The tipster went on to add that she is “finally ready” to tell her side of what went down, including things “she’s never told.”

“Jen has had a lot of therapy to make peace with her failed marriage to Brad and other romances that didn’t work out,” they continued. “But there is so much more to the story, especially about why they never had a child together.”

Jennifer’s Alleged Memoir May Discuss Her Fertility Struggles

Aniston has previously said there was a time in her life she wanted a child, but it ultimately didn’t happen to her, alluding to fertility struggles. She’s admitted the constant speculation around her family plans – especially when married to Pitt, and later to actor Justin Theroux – made it more heartbreaking.

Brad went on to have six children with Angelina – three adopted and three biological. The pair met while filming Mr. and Mrs. Smith, and though he was still married to Jen, Brad and Angelina’s romance seemed to start on set. They went public with their romance as soon as the news of his divorce from Jen in 2005 made headlines.

While Jen says having kids just wasn’t in the cards for her, Brad is reportedly hoping to expand his family even further, as he apparently wants kids with his younger girlfriend Ines De Ramon. However, his divorce hasn’t been finalized from Angelina, even though they broke up in 2016, after only a few years of marriage. Though they’ve been declared legally single, they haven’t finalized the divorce, as they’re still arguing over custody.

There’s no doubt fans remain curious about Brad and Angelina’s personal lives, and a memoir from Jennifer would likely answer a lot of questions fans remain eager to know a decade before the love triangle shook Hollywood.
