Angel Reese recently took to social media, sharing a few photos and videos of her time in New York City during the WNBA offseason.

Reese posted one video in particular that had fans buzzing online. While in New York, Reese spent time with former Chicago Sky head coach Teresa Weatherspoon. Weatherspoon coached one season with the Sky, 2024, and was fired after Chicago failed to make the postseason.

Despite the separation, Reese and Weatherspoon have continued to show their tight bond on social media. While posting a video of Weatherspoon, Reese added, “She said she run New York,” with laughing emojis.

WNBA fans seemed to love Reese and Weatherspoon spending time together.

While some fans were simply excited to see the interaction, others were saddened that Reese and Weatherspoon were no longer able to showcase their connection in the WNBA. “I love her, I love you, I love this,” said one fan with the crying and heart eyes emojis.

“This is so Wholesome,” said another fan with teary eyed emojis. “I hope coach T find a team / org that will appreciate her as a head coach bc I’m still pissed at the sky,” mentioned one fan.

“These two have a once in a lifetime kind of connection, “commented one fan. “She was in the gym with her too I love that regardless of tspoon being let go.

They still gone have that coach and player relationship always,” said one fan. “Haters have know idea how important it is to have someone believe in you and pull the best out of you,” said another fan.
