50 CENT PLAYFULLY TRASH TALKS BEYONCÉ OVER ‘IN DA CLUB’ AI COUNTRY REMAKE

50 Cent has poked fun at Beyoncé after coming across an AI country remake of his hit single “In Da Club.”
Country music has enjoyed a commercial resurgence in recent years, with names such as Zach Bryan, Morgan Wallen and Luke Combs becoming mainstays on the radio and charts.
Beyoncé joined the wave earlier this year with the release of her Cowboy Carter album, which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and has been credited with opening the door for more Black artists to thrive in the genre.
Hinting at being the next to saddle up, 50 Cent took to Instagram on Sunday (June 9) to share a computer-generated version of his Get Rich or Die Tryin’ anthem which reimagined the G-Unit general as “Conway Fitty,” complete with a suit and quiff hairstyle.
In the caption, 50 joked about releasing his own country album and eclipsing Beyoncé in the historic genre.
“My country album on the way Beyoncé ain’t got shit on me. LOL,” he wrote.
50 Cent is no stranger to praising country music. In December, he posted a photo of him hanging out with Zach Bryan after the country star stopped by his show in Melbourne.
The Power mogul opened up about their conversation, revealing he told Bryan that he was the best new artist in the country music scene.
“My boy @zachlanebryan stopped by to see me last night,” he wrote in the Instagram post. “I told him, he the best new everything in country music.”
The same can’t be said for 50’s relationship with Beyoncé, though.
During an interview with the The Breakfast Club in 2022, he claimed that Bey was ready to fight him during his 2000s beef with her now-husband JAY-Z.
“She was on, like, a window sill. We was in Vegas,” he remembered. “She jumped out, she was like [pulls confrontational face]. And I’m like, ‘Wait, what is you doing? That’s me and JAY-Z’s stuff, this ain’t got nothing to do with you, girl.’
“She jumped off the ledge. I was like, ‘Oh, shit!’ I didn’t really know what to do. It was one of those situations where you were like, ‘Woah!’ If you say this to Jay, he’ll look at you and go, ‘Nah, that happened.’”
He continued: “She came like she was ready! Like something was gonna happen! And I’m like, ‘Woah, woah, woah.’ She throwing me off now ’cause I don’t know exactly how to respond to this. You are still Beyoncé. She brought all of the sexy over with that energy jumping off.
“I look at Jay and he go [laughs]. Nah, he’ll tell you … I said, ‘Yo, alright. Whatever.’ ‘Cause really I’m just saying what’s up. But she’s feeling my energy come over because we do say things about each other — it’s a competitive nature, that’s it!”
