Caitlin Clark after Fever’s comeback vs. Lynx: ‘We found a way to win’

Caitlin, great win today! While the offense didn’t flow as smoothly as you’d like, you still pulled off the victory. How did you manage to make it happen?

Caitlin: Defense was key. We’ve won every game where we’ve held our opponents under 84 points, and today they only scored 74.

Even though our shooting wasn’t the best, we found a way to win. We were resilient, came into the fourth quarter down seven, and just battled through it.

Aaliyah Boston set a career high in rebounds this game. I know you’ve been working on your on-court chemistry. How did you feel about her performance today?

Caitlin: She’s phenomenal. She dominates on the court. Honestly, we probably should have gotten her the ball more, but they were playing tight defense on her.

She’s incredibly talented, and the sky’s the limit for her. I think she’s only going to get better, so I’m super proud of her.
