Fans attending 50 Cent’s Michigan show as part of his Final Lap tour, were in for a treat as he was joined by special guest and ‘best friend’ Eminem for a surprise performance
The Lose Yourself hitmaker, 50, took to the stage at the Pine Knob Amphitheatre in Clarkston, Michigan, on Sunday night and had the crowd jumping to their feet as he sang part of 50 Cent’s song Patiently Waiting. He also had fans singing along as he performed his hit track Crack A Bottle.
Eminem, whose real name is Marshall Mathers, also made sure to pay tribute to 50 Cent and acknowledge the 50th anniversary of Hip-Hop. “Detroit make some noise for one of the best friends I’ve ever known 50 Cent! Make some noise for hip-hop’s 50th birthday y’all,” Eminem shouted to fans.

The Final Lap tour hasn’t been without controversy, as 50 Cent launched his microphone into the crowd during one performance and reportedly injuring a fan in the crowd. The victim is said to have go to hospital with a bloody gash in her forehead following the incident.
A video was shared on social media showing the rapper appearing to throw a broken microphone during his concert at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles last month. It’s believed he threw the mic out of frustration.
The rapper’s attorney shared a statement claiming 50 Cent did not “intentionally” strike the fan. “Let’s be very clear, as I told LAPD this afternoon, my client Curtis would never intentionally strike anyone with a microphone,” Scott Leeman told the Daily Mail.
