Youtuber turned boxer Jake Paul just beat BKFC star Mike Perry via TKO in a boxing match. With the win, Paul continued his dominance over MMA veterans, defeating everyone who came in front of him. Now with a win over Perry, Paul has some big plans that include fighting UFC light heavyweight champion Alex Pereira.

Jake Paul outclassed Perry in all departments, piecing up the ‘Platinum’ for six rounds. The fight ended with Paul dropping Perry the third time while making him unable to continue the fight. After that during the ring interview with Ariel Helwani, Paul shocked the world by calling out Alex Pereira for a boxing bout.

Alex Pereira, you say you want to box. I’m the king of this. I’m the king of this. Come over. We can make it happen. I want you, Alex Pereira. … I just beat a BKFC champion. I’ve beat multiple UFC champions. He said he wants to box. So Alex Pereira, after Mike Tyson, let’s make it happen.

Shockingly, it didn’t take Alex Pereira much time to respond. Things further took a wild turn when ‘Poatan’ and Jake Paul face-timed each other inside the ring. Although Pereira’s comments were inaudible, this made sure that the fighter was watching Paul and was interested in the proposal.

Pereira showed interest in boxing after former heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua asked the UFC champ to step into the sport. It was followed by top heavyweight boxer Zhilei Zhang asking Pereira for the same. The Brazilian also liked the idea and so did the fans who would love to see Pereira inside the ring.

Alex Pereira is currently one of the best strikers in the world of combat sports and has a deadly left hook. Given his power, the fighter could potentially do well in boxing shorts. To fight Mike Tyson,  Jake Paul has bulked up and is currently walking around as a heavyweight.

Many made some hilarious comments about Paul potentially getting knocked out by Alex Pereira with ease. Others were skeptical about the bout as it could be a bad idea for Pereira as well as Paul. Few didn’t think the fight would ever happen given Pereira’s UFC contract. Nevertheless, it was definitely a gutsy call-out from Paul and surely an entertaining one.
