50 Cent reveals he’s ‘practicing abstinence’ in 2024: ‘I don’t have time to be distracted’
50 Cent shared that he is giving up 𝓈ℯ𝓍 this year to accomplish his goals.
“My new idea is so big, I don’t have time to be distracted I’m practicing abstinence,” the rapper admitted in an Instagram caption on Tuesday.
The “In Da Club” artist — 𝐛𝐨𝐫𝐧 Curtis Jackson III — explained that he has been meditating and “focusing” on his “goals.”
“I hope this New Year helps you excel to the next level,” the 48-year-old wrote, tagging his cognac brand, Branson Cognac, as well as his Champagne line, Le Chemin du Roi.
In the post, he shared several photos of himself wearing a suit and tie while smoking a cigar with a glass of his award-winning brandy.
The “Power” producer didn’t give any more hints about his aspirations but he did post a photo of himself in a bar holding a bottle of his cognac hours later.
“There is always another level, @bransoncognac level up @lecheminduroi,” he captioned the post.
Several of his fans flooded the comments section to show their support for the hip-hop star.
“Yes mindset and discipline in order for positive change💙,” one fan cheered in the comments section.
“Stay focused, brother. We rooting for you out here,” a second supporter added.
“Executive mode, mogul moves, positive vibes only! 🔥🔥🔥,” a third wrote.
“I can’t wait to see that big idea 5. Thank you for inspiring a lot of people out there including myself. God bless my brother,” a netizen said.
“Big Moves no distractions @50cent 👏,” another added.
The rapper’s announcement comes after rumors surfaced that he and his girlfriend, Jamira “Cuban Link” Haines, had called it quits.
Fifty has been dating the aspiring corporate lawyer, 29, for at least a year, though it’s unclear how she feels about his chastity mission.
“The first time I ever heard 50th talk about Love was about you. Now I’m hearing it’s over with ya’ll. Say it ain’t TRUE..🤔,” one person commented on her Instagram post from Jan. 4.
“You been posting a lot lately 😍😍😍 what he do sis!?!” another asked.
“She’s been sad lately. And he’s thrown himself into work. I think her & @50cent may have called it quits. I wish them both well,” a third fan guessed.
However, Haines didn’t respond and seemed unphased by the “Den of Thieves” actor’s announcement. She posted a selfie to her Instagram Story with the caption, “Morning beautiful people. Have a Blessed Day.”
She also shared a selfie where she was seen smiling, writing, “Since Y’all say I never smile (If you like my smile just say that).”
Fifty’s rep did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.
He was previously linked to several A-list beauties over the years, including Vivica A. Fox, Paris Hilton and Ciara.
He shares a son Marquise, 27, with ex-girlfriend Shaniqua Tompkins, and son Sire, 11, with model Daphne Joy.
