There is no doubt by now what Simone Biles is made of. The 27-year-old has firmly established herself as the most decorated American women’s gymnast. Coming back after battling issues related to her mental health, she showed the world her abilities at the Paris Olympics 2024. That said, she doesn’t mind dishing out retorts to those who try to incite controversy. This includes even ex-POTUS Donald Trump.

The now 9 Olympic medal winner is not ignorant of what is happening back home. Therefore, she took the opportunity to take a sly dig at Donald Trump for his recent comments. She wrote this on her official X page after her 2nd gold medal win.

I love my black job.

🤸🏿‍♀️ Masterclass by Simone Biles! 🤩🇺🇸

That was a sly dig, with a black heart at the end, at the former President for claiming that illegal immigrants are taking away black jobs. It seems Simone Biles was making it clear that black jobs are with the black citizens of America.

Rather, she is a Black woman who has taken over and dominated a job that was predominantly white-centric. Therefore, suggesting to Donald Trump that jobs can be made available for the Black community if he were to work on unemployment issues.

But her dig was such that it was not a direct shot at the former President. In addition, with her massive popularity among people of all racial backgrounds, the message was loud and clear. Donald Trump has been trying to get the black community to accept him and vote for him in the upcoming elections.

Simone Biles gets all the love from NFL legend Shannon Sharpe

After her performances, it was natural for the American population to congratulate Simone Biles for winning two gold medals. Shannon Sharpe wanted to chime in with some words of his own while on his podcast, Nightcap;

She's 27. There's a 13–14-year age gap. She's in a class by herself. If you look at where she is, her number, 59, and then you got somebody else like a point a half up under. That's how dominant Simone Biles is. So, congratulations Simone. Well done. We salute.

The NFL Hall of Famer and co-host Chad Johnson ended by saluting her dominating performance. As they said, her competitors were far younger than her. It goes to show that Simone Biles might be one of a kind. She is a superstar who could have been the best ever worldwide had she competed in all of her events at the Tokyo Olympics. That said, she still has managed to create history.

Nevertheless, one must note that it is not over yet. The 27-year-old can still add to her tally at the Paris Olympics 2024. She is in the finals for floor, vault, and balance beam. The medal tally could increase further. As such, the American gymnastics GOAT could cement her legacy.
