It could have been her third straight and 4th MVP if one voter did not give her a 4th place vote last season. This time, another player, Angel Reese received a controversial 4th place vote. When the WNBA published their MVP voting results, fans were ecstatic that this time, Wilson was not undone in her quest for greatness. But on the other hand, in the list of players receiving MVP votes was Chicago Sky rookie Reese.
